Junior Team Tennis
Join a competitive tennis team hosted by Gates Tennis Center. Junior Team Tennis is a USTA-sanctioned program that brings kids of all levels of tennis experience together to have fun and get experience in singles and doubles match play. Teams will play other local clubs in the Denver Metro area with matches being played on Monday mornings throughout the summer. Practices will be weekday evenings in the spring and early afternoons during the summer. Please attend one of our Viewing Days on Saturday, April 19 or 26 to ensure that your child will be placed on a team with players of equal ability. For more information, contact JTT coordinator, Libby Geelan, by clicking here.
Sunday Evening Junior Matchplay Pizza Parties
Juniors register for a night of competition, game play and pizza-eating fun! Every player is guaranteed one match followed by pizza and a game court run by one of our excellent teaching staff. A great way for kids from all over the Denver Metro to meet each other and participate in some friendly competition all season long.
Colorado State Open Junior & Family Divisions
The fastest growing tournament at the Gates Tennis Center is not the Colorado State Open, but the Colorado State Open Junior and Family Divisions! As is the Gates way, this not just a tournament, but an event. This event is held between July 28th – August 3rd and is the only tournament in Colorado that includes junior divisions for all ages and levels, a family division that includes grandparents playing grandchildren, siblings playing with each other and more, a player party which includes music, food, drinks, prizes, ping-pong, tennis and other fun surprises, a junior player lounge featuring root beer floats, and a lot more great perks. Plus the entry fee can be as little as $10. For more information about how to register for $10, please call the front desk at 303-355-4461.
